I have not seen anything denoting that the letter of the series represents a specific name.
Here is a product guide that helps show the differences between the models.

This Wiki page has a decent breakdown as well.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dell_Networking
F: fiber, will have majority SFP+ interfaces
T: copper, will have majority Base-T interfaces
ON: open networking, supports installation of alternate network operating systems.
P: PoE
PX: PoE with some higher wattage interfaces
FB: with deep-buffering only
FBL: with deep-buffering and additional TCAM for expanded FIB and ACL tables and flows
U: offers some unified SFP+ interfaces
When looking at the product page, there is a breakdown of the different models and how they differ.

The spec sheets also offer info on the differences between models.
