PowerConnect 8024F logging
Hello Community,
this switch is logging with " -1 ".
this "-1" is driving me crazy... is this related to the stack-unit?
and second: can i change the logging to just " "

Hi,
Can you private message me the service tag so we can get some additional device details?
Yes, if it stacked it is the identifier for which stack member is giving the message.

Hi!
"-1" is related to number of unit that is "master" in stack at point when message was logged.
If you failover stack to for eg. Unit 4 it will appear as -4 .
Even if you don't use stacking - it's always Unit 1 :) Can't remove it.
Kind Regards
Greg
