PowerConnect 6248 Policy Based Routing
Hi all,
I'm trying to configure the policy based routing on a dell PowerConnect 6248, but I have a doubt.
Can I redirect traffic to another IP based on an ACL (e.g Cisco Policy routing, 'set next-hop")? Or only to another interface (w/ redirect keyword)?
Thanks.

There's not a "true policy based routing aka Cisco" on the Dells , but you can use ACL's to inpsect traffic and only redirect to a specfic port of switch,as you have identified.
Only other option is to set a static route.....but thats not "TCP/UDP port specific" -which is really what PBR gives you, plus the resilience of routing table should the PBR next hop fail.....but thats not available in Dell's.
