PowerConnect 6224
Hi is there anyone who can assist me please to Recover a Dell PowerConnect 6224 from bad flash im unable to read it via the serial console port or via http, tried hard reset no joy ,it still works but as an unmanaged switch.

Hi,
May I know how was the firmware flash done? You might need to try another serial null cable, if the cable is converted, it might not work. You will need a serial DB9 to serial DB9 cable. Open your terminal emulator (eg: Putty) and configure it to use the serial port (usually COM1, but this may vary depending on your system). Configure serial communications for 9600,N,8,1 and no flow control.
If this doesn't work, you may need to raise a case with support for further assessment.
