OS10 sflow via management interface
Hello everybody,
we've got a Dell Networking OS10 setup out of various Z9100 and S40xx and S5xxx switches. We have a completely separated management network, to which the management interfaces are connected.
Now we want to collect sflow data to analyze customer bandwidth usage and so on. On OS9 there was a command to enable the sflow output via management interface.
This command is not found on OS10 and I cannot find anything in the docs how to enable it.
As show sflow states
Management Interface sFlow services are disabled
As it states "disabled" there should be a command to enable it?
Anybody who knows the trick?

Hi, I'm not a network expert but this seems like what you are facing, please see the attached image.

Hi, thx for reacting. No, unfortunately this is not what we are looking for. Sending out the sflow via a VLAN interface is easy, however assumes that your management iron is also placed in the data network. If you separate management networks completely, as most MSPs do, you have to pull everything from the managment interface of the switch.

Hello,
The manual has an entire chapter on sFlow, chapter 24. It begins on page 1716. I would recommend looking at that to see if it helps

Looking at the documentation, you can specify a non-default (management) VRF when configuring an sFlow collector (requires version 10.4.3.0 or later).
OS10(conf)# sflow collector 10.1.1.1 agent-addr 2.2.2.2 6232 max-datagram-size 1400 vrf management
