Old Dell Switch with Old Cisco Switch Networking

Hello everyone. Our switch has expired. And I found 3 old model switches. Cisco SG2000-26, LINKSYS SGE2000 and a DELL PowerConnect 2824. We will use these 3 switches in our office for a temporary period. Then we will replace them with the latest CISCO Small Business switches. We know about networking, but we are not experts. We have Sophos Frewall, 32 IP cameras, 15 PCs. So I have 3 questions.
1-Can we use these 3 models just by connecting them with cat6 cables? Or do we need to do things like vlan, configuration?
2-What small business switches do you recommend?
3-Do you have any suggestions for learning switches, vlans, networking?
I may have asked too many questions and maybe some questions are not appropriate for this support community, please forgive me. Thank you very much.

Hi,

1-Can we use these 3 models just by connecting them with cat6 cables? Or do we need to do things like vlan, configuration?

I can't answer on 2 other non-Dell switches, but PowerConnect 2824, yes you can use cat6 cables, it will auto negotiate to 1GB connection. Most switches, you will need to do configuration for it to work in networking.

2-What small business switches do you recommend?

We have wide varieties of switch model based on businesses. But to fit your needs, I will suggest contacting the sales department to cater each needs and demands of your company. (https://dell.to/3UeZ11k)

3-Do you have any suggestions for learning switches, vlans, networking?

There are classes conducted by Dell professionals, https://dell.to/4aR2Gry
