Finding an IP address using a mac address on Dell 5424 switch
We deployed a Dell 5424 Switch without proper config documentation.
It is picking up an DHCP and active on the network.
How do I find out what IP it is getting if I know the mac address for the switch?
Thank you.

You should be able to check on your DHCP server to see what IP it was assigned.
You can also check the instructions here: cognitiveanomalies.com/how-to-find-ip-addresses-in-a-network-with-mac-address-locating-an-ip-address-and-mac-address-in-a-network.

Hi chadap100,
You can try using arp-a all looking for the MAC address. You could also go onto your DHCP server and look at the leases that it is handing out. You can use a 3rd party network mapping or management tool to scan the network and look at the results. You can login to the switch through the console and change the configuration to a static address that you set.
