Access vlan 1 in port channel
Hi,
I am configuring S4148FE-ON and while configuring port-channel i got following command
interface port-channel109
switchport mode trunk
switchport access vlan 1
switchport trunk allowed vlan 100,101
why
switchport access vlan 1
is coming there, I try to remove by no switchport access vlan 1 but it does not work. Do I need to remove or it is just working as native vlan as a default. I hope you will get my question

Hi,
Is it automatically adding the command? It shouldn’t affect anything being there since it is in trunk mode.

I would recommend using the latest firmware and make sure you are using the manual for the same version, OS 10 has different features than 9. https://topics-cdn.dell.com/pdf/force10-s4048-on_reference-guide7_en-us.pdf

Hi,
I had the same problem in S4148F-ON/S4148T-ON (SW Version: 10.4.0E(R3)).
However, using the firmware 10.4.3E, I can remove the setting by "no switchport access vlan".
If any of the versions fix this issue, could you tell me which version it is?
