i have a tape library dell EMC ML3 with FC card, it´s possible to connect directly to a dell server poweredge R630 with a FC card?
or i need a SAN switch

you should not have any problems hooking that if you have port for fc

I have an R540 with an IBM TS4300 library connected with four LTO7 drives and two FC cards. Remember to use persisent names for drive paths after installing Networker. Otherwise, after reboot, Networker will lose the drives.
