Suspect Save Sets
We are running Networker 19.4.0.4.Build.197.
We have a number of Cloned Save Sets which are showing as Suspect. The original Save Sets are no longer available. We are trying to restore from the 'suspect' save sets without success. I have run command nsrmm -y -o notsuspect -S nnnnnnn/nnnnnnn which temporarily removes the suspect tag but as soon as I run a restore it reappears and the restore fails. I have also tried moving and cloning the suspect save set but both options failed also. Is there any way to force Networker to ignore the fact that the save set is suspect?

suspect is the result that something seems to be the matter with the backup data of those ssid's, not that the suspect state prevents the data from being accessed. As the data was not ok, it is marked as suspect, thus giginv a signal something is the matter and shoudl be investigated...
On another note, one can also play with the suspect feature by marking ssid's suspect, so to force for example the clone to be used to validate the clone is ok, instead of the original backup being used to restore from, as falling back to a clone if the primary backup is unavailable is transparent for a restore, so one can add somewhat more control to that.
But in this case not being able to restore nor clone the data seems to suggest something is the matter with the data being cloned. Having a look at the various flags of the ssid's in question, might give you an idea what their status actually is/was when it was cloned? This as cloning can also fail and only have a failed stub of sorts on the clone volume, preventing for example another try to clone the data to said volume to fail, unless the failed ssid is actuallu deleted. This can be caused when there are connection issues for example.
So what is the status of the various flags of these cloned ssid's you still have left? What is the media they are located on? Tape? Can scanner even read/access these ssid's?
