LTO4 Tapes
We running Networker 7.4.3 and using Quantum Scalar i2000 library.
Our backups are writing to IBM LTO4 media.
My question - When backups are writen to the tape, Is the data encrypted or is there some kind of security on the tape to keep the data protected from anyone.
Or can the data on the tape be re-trieved in another enviroment, If some perhaps steals this tape?

You can use NetWorker AES Encryption by using a directive in NetWorker which specifies it, which encrypts at a software level on the client.
As pointed out you can also use a hardware solution with a software key manager (NetWorker does not currently have one of its own).

Are there any plans that anyone has heard of for a NW key solution?
