Learn networker fundamentals

Hi! I need to start learning EMC Networker, would like a free fundamentals course to get me started, something that have a overview of the installation, command line interface, the UI and some best practice advices.

I have a understading of storage and network in general.

Can anyone point me in the right directions ?

Wrg to best practices, you'd have to do a lot of reading between the lines. There are various lists with things for settings and maximum values and system requirements to take into account and the ports used by the various components, however wrg to naming conventions, those you would have to think about yourself as Dell doesn't go beyond examples to call something "test" or "backup".

The NW manuals "NW security configuration guide" and "Performance Optimization Planning Guide" are also good resources to be aware of and sift through. If you are at it, read through the whole documentation portfolio and don't forget the manuals for the NW modules.
