7.3.2 Upgrade VSS errors

I upgraded all of our client machines to 7.3.2 from 7.3. All of the clients are Windows Server boxes. Six of the client machines are now getting the following error.

1 retry attempted
Registry - Cannot save Registry key SOFTWARE: 0x00000057
Registry - Error saving
save: RPC error: RPC cannot encode arguments
save: save of SYSTEM STATE:\ to backup-ov.duda.com failed

The difference between the six client machines compare to the other machines is that they are running Windows 2003 64bit edition. The six clients worked fine before the upgrade. I looked for a 64bit edition of networker but could not find the correct software that would be compatible. All the client machines have the command VSS:*=off under Apps & Modules because we do not use VSS. I removed the command from one of the machines that had the error but it had no effect. Any suggestions on what to check next?

Thanks
Warren

I'm not sure why you state in subject of topic this to be VSS error as there is not VSS involved. Did you use 7.3.2 jumbo or regular 7.3.2? Also, what about your server - what version is there?

Check for what it says for build.

I am not sure if I used the regular or jumbo. How do I tell the difference? The server is 7.3.2. I upgraded the server first and then did the clients.

That's without patch. 378 is jumbo patch build, but most of the systems show that as jumbo build 11 or something like that. Give it a try.

Hmm, I can't seem to find that build. I went to the download/patches section in powerlink but was only able to find one version of 7.3.2. Where can I find the different builds?

Just download it... once you install it it should report something as jumbo build 11 I believe.
