U2724DE, prevent Ethernet from switching?, #2

Similar to this poster, I have this same issue with this device. I suspect that it's a relatively common scenario:
1. Laptop connected to TB4 port for KVM, ethernet, and power delivery.
2. Desktop PC connected to USB port, only for KVM, as it would typically have its own network connection.

Currently, if I switch between inputs, my laptop unnecessarily loses network connection which affects open applications.

This solution only works for me if the Ethernet stays put. This should be configurable via DDM to support users with both requirements.
