S2340L purple hue tint + shade framing on right side
Yes, same as others in this forum, my S2340L facing this problem~
Pinkish/purple hue on the right side of the monitor, now even worse with the ghost effect (stripes) I believe it called as "shade framing" if not mistaken~
I performed built-in diagnostic, same, the purple hue still at there.
I faced this problem back to 2 years ago and I did 1 to 1 exchange with Dell in my country, after 2 years today, the problem seem to be back again and I did called Dell. They stated that this is faulty issue of the monitor.
Unfortunately, my dell monitor 3 years warranties is over. Now is 3 years and a half year since I bought it.
I am here to ask, what can I do if the warranty is over and any possible to get fix on it by technician outside there/ or by dell?

Hi,
Welcome to our Community. Try the following steps and let us know if you notice the issue while performing the troubleshooting.
* Turn the monitor off.
* Disconnect all cables from the monitor except the power cord.
* Turn the monitor on.
* Looking at the monitor buttons top to bottom, press and hold buttons 1 and 4 down for two seconds
* An all Gray screen appears (the problem should be apparent here or on the white screen below)
* Press button 4. The screen changes to Red
* Press button 4. The screen changes to Green
* Press button 4. The screen changes to Blue
* Press button 4. The screen changes to Black
* Press button 4. The screen changes to White Press button 4 to exit the test.
