Replacement of damaged monitor component

The network jack on my monitor isn't working. When I look in the ethernet port, the pins seem bent/damaged. I've only unplugged and plugged it back in twice (I work at home and moved my office to another room for a week and then moved back). It's possible that I damaged it, but I moved back to my office six months ago. The monitor is mounted on my desk and the cables haven't moved since March, but it stopped working sometime in the last month.

Do you offer exchanges for this type of problem? There are no direct answers in your policy document (‎Warranty and Exchange instructions | DELL Technologies):

Warranty and Exchange instructions

Replacement monitor policy =
* Keep all of your cabling. We do not ship any cabling when doing a monitor exchange
* If the monitor exchange is setup inside the first 30 daysfrom theDellinvoice date, the replacement will beNew
* If the monitor exchange is setup outside the first 30 daysfrom theDellinvoice date, the replacement will be refurbished/used
* The original monitor purchased warranty end date remains the same. The warranty period is not extended

Purchased from Dell with Service Tag
If purchased directly from Dell and your monitor came with a Dell service tag number, this registers you to the monitor as well as giving you a Dell Order and Dell Customer number. If you are still under warranty...

Dell doesn't repair monitors, period.  Those that fail under warranty for covered issues are replaced.

I suspect if you call, you'll be told this is accidental or user caused damage and not covered by warranty.

If you're looking to have the monitor repaired, you'll need  to find a shop that does true repairs - not just a parts swapper.  And depending on the monitor, that may or may not make economic sense as it'll be at least a couple of hundred dollars if repair is even possible.
