Dell P2418HT Touch Screen Timeout
Hi all,
Having a bit of an issue across a few monitors.
What seems to be occuring is the touchscreen function on Dell P2418HT is periodically timing out, requiring monitor restart in order to reactivate. I have in my network with identical settings 13 monitors, with this issue only effecting 3 of them; so far attempted fixes include BIOS update, HID Compliant power saving settings, overall power settings, driver install, hard power cycle of device, new USB cable. Event Viewer isn't showing anything from a direct standpoint, but I am also relatively new to my role so may just be missing something!
I am running out of ideas! Anything that can be suggested would be amazing as the touch screen function of them is fairly critical for their dedicated use!
The restart to reactivate the touch functions does also only appear to fix the issue very periodically - initially being an issue arising every 48 hours, to now resolving the issue for only around 2 hours.
I feel like I'm going insane for the fact I can't figure it out!
Issue started 30th August 2024.
Thanks!

I forgot to mention! I believe that it is a monitor issue rather than a system issue, as I have 2 monitors connected to the same Optiplex Micro 7010, one monitor has issues, while the other does not.
