2408WFP rev A01 is out, but what are the changes?
I have read numerous posts and seen multiple people that claim to have recieved a 2408WFP revision A01.
However, none seem to know what exactly has changed.
The color banding?
The pink hue?
The weird color setting under Windows?
The input lag?
edit: just quick summary:

rscot01,
I would wait until at least the 20th of May.

Ok folks, here is the official word.
While the currently shipping Dell 2408WFP monitor meets both Dell and industry standard specifications, we have been closely listening to your feedback on the Dell Community Forum. Based on your comments, Dell is working to incorporate a number of improvements into the 2408WFP as a firmware update for new monitors scheduled to ship in mid-July. This firmware update features greater control over sharpness settings, improved power save recovery, and less input lag. Current 2408WFP owners whose specific usage scenario may benefit from the firmware update should contact Dell Technical Support after Mid July to receive the firmware update. If you have any questions please feel free to post them here or contact Dell Technical Support.

yes.. it is a fact now... I contacted Dell support (Netherlands), they let me know that it is now the revision A01 which is delivered to the customers....
Some people from our forum (tweakers.net) must get this new revision tomorrow and will post their opinion about it.... We should just have some patience! :)

Surely I will do that... :)
We still hear the same explanations of Dell support which states that all the issues of 2408 have been fixed... They said it to me and some other guys... Yeah right... I guess it is mainly the lack of knowledge which makes them saying that...
Anyway, we will know more in the next few days when some guys will be able to post their reviews of the latest A01 revision...
I want to hope that all the problems of the great 2408 are gone... but it seems impossible....

yes I would like to think they fixed everything but I think the panel suffers from it's technology. If you read up about different panels you will see why these issues are somewhat normal to this type of panel
I still don't get why they didn't go to a S-IPS panel on such a nice monitor or H-IPS

I don't know why, but I have a feeling in my gut that you'll get A00 again :)
I would like to exchange mine too, of course if Rev A01 isn't worse. X=

Gary,
I hope to be wrong, but I think that you'll get A00. Please, tell us soon.
Greetings.
