XPS 13 Plus 9320, Linux drivers for the webcam
Hi, I understand that the linux drivers for the webcam of the xps 13 plus are not available in the official linux kernel.
Will they be available at some point?

. As of now there is no driver update is available. In future if there is any driver update available you can check our support site to for the drivers update.

unfortunately the webcam does not work in any distribution except ubuntu.

Really? There seems to be a difference between regular Ubuntu from Canonical, which doesn't include the special drivers that Dell provides with their Linux Special Edition. I can't just install plain Vanilla Ubuntu and get my camera to work. What I need is access to Dell's drivers, and yet all the tools fail to see a problem to download the drivers. Not good Dell. Your competitors are definitely beating you in this area. It just shouldn't be so hard to simply download the drivers that I need, without Windows OS running in advance. If anyone has insight, please comment.

Still sit with this problem on current stable Fedora, the webcam just doesn't work. Anyone any idea if this will be fixed?

i have the 9320, a question: does your laptop ocassionally and randomlly freeze for some seconds, (and sometimes it does not go back) ?? it is a headache
i am having this issue in ubuntu 22.04.1

Both Zorin OS and Mint cinnamon did not have a problem with my 9720.
Both are based on ubuntu and have build in drivers that worked well.
