Inspiron 15 7567, dual boot Linux Mint
Inspiron 15 Gaming 7567
Hello everyone,
I bought the ssd (which was missing, used pc). The idea is to install linux mint on the ssd and win 10 on the hdd. But I had problems right away with the bios and uefi configurations.
Linux installed on the ssd without problems but grub no longer saw the hdd. the original windows 10 and a linux mint were already installed on the hdd, by removing the ssd everything went back to working as if I only had the hdd.
Fearing conflicts in the two linuxes and in the way uefi was configured when the various operating systems were installed (the pc is used I don't know what was previously touched in the bios), I formatted the whole hdd and tried to install a new win 10 (downloaded from the microsoft site and live usb), but it didn't install.
Can you help me understand how to configure bios, uefi, etc to finally have linux on ssd and win 10 on hdd?
(some screenshots showing the situation I'm in)
Inspiron 15 7567 was never tested/validated for Linux Mint. We only tested/validated with Ubuntu 16.04. DELL-Admin>
