High battery drain with Latitude 7340 and ubuntu 24.04 (noble)

Hi.

I contact the community because I have an issue with a high battery drain in sleep mode with Latitude 7340 / ubuntu 24.04 (noble) / Kernel : 6.8.0-45-generic.

I does not suspect an trouble due to the sleep mode type. So I am in s2idle mode and I don't want to go in deep sleep (for ssd life issue and swap). I want to keep the s2idle.

What I don't understand is why on a Thinkpad L13 the same s2idle loss in ~ 1:30 only 2% of battery and the Latitude 7340 up to 13% during the same period (same condition test without network).

I read on the internet that the RAID mode in BIOS could play. But I don't belive that could be the solution. A kernel issue (like with IUP6 interl driver ?).

If anybody have a solution to improve the s2idle battery drain it could be great.

Thanks.

Regards.
