Why is latest BIOS not showing?
In the last few days a "critical" BIOS update was been released for the Dell Latitude 7430 (version 1.18.0). You can see this on the Latitude 7430 Support page here. However, when using BIOSConnect to flash the BIOS over the air, it can't see latest version 1.18.0 but can only see 1.16.1 (as shown in image attached).
The same applies in Dell Command Update - it cannot see latest version. So if I have a 7430 with version 1.16.1 Dell command update thinks I have the latest BIOS version available.
Surely this is stupid?
How to complain about this?
As an IT admin building machines to deploy to end-users in our org this is a pain in the neck.
Pain in the neck manually updating loads of Latitude 7430's - would be easier to use BIOS connect but cannot AND cannot rely on Dell Command Update (version 5, latest version).

Wouldn't you need to update to that 1.16.1 version before it will do any newer one?

@jbrownFranklinville
I had another Latitude 7430 that was already on 1.16.1 that couldn't see the latest BIOS update supposedly available to it (1.18.0).
Any idea who best to contact about this?
Are there no moderators on this forum or Dell techs that monitor these forums I could reach out to in order to raise it up the chain?

Surely this needs brought to Dells attention?
