Severe lag with Logitech MX Keys when connected via Bluetooth

Does anyone have any experience with bluetooth keyboard lag?

I'm using a Logitech MX Keys with my Latitude E3420 and the performance of it is HORRENDOUS. If I use the USB dongle it came with on the machine, the performance is fine, however I'd prefer to use Bluetooth because in my experience (with Microsoft keyboards) those dongles get lost or broken easily. Plus, it means I don't have to sacrifice a port for it.

I'm using an MX Master with the machine also - it appears to be fine - it's just the keyboard and it's across all applications, so it's not specific to MS Office or Edge (for example).

It's driving me nuts - it could just be poor engineering on Dell's part, as I had the same issue with the Vostro laptop I used this keyboard with previously, also..

For reference, I have the keyboard paired with my MacBook Pro and iPad Pro but neither of these devices cause me any issues with it - the performance, via bluetooth, is stellar.

It's just Windows

I had the same problem with one of my Dell PCs and what kind of worked for me was removing any pairings/profiles/etc... Basically starting over.

Now pair the keyboard with profile #1 with the dongle/receiver in Logi Options+ FIRST. Then switch to another Easy-Switch slot that can be used for Bluetooth pairing. For example: Easy-Switch profile #1 =  USB Unifying Receiver and Easy-Switch profile #2 = Bluetooth. Now at this point I was able to remove the USB Unifying Receiver dongle and it would run flawlessly on the 2nd profile connected to Bluetooth. Even after rebooting, as well as disconnecting in order to connect to another device and returning to the problem device. It still worked great all the while without the USB dongle in play.

I'm not sure if removing the profile in slot #1 matters or not at this point because I just left it but give it a try and see if it works for you.
