Latitude E6540 Fingerprint Touch Sensor not working
Hello Dell community, maybe you can help me with an issue I'm having with my laptop.
I got this 6540 a couple weeks ago, and I tired using the touch sensor with Windows Hello, but it wasn't noticing that I was using the sensor, the window never changed from "rest and lift your finger from the reader until setup is complete" so I thought the reader itself was faulty.
Luckily, the laptop itself is still under warranty, so I had a Dell tech come out and replace the palmrest. Still no dice.
I then followed this post for an E6520, still didn't work.
Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
Things I have tried:
-Reinstalling the driver
-Updating the firmware
-Enabling TPM
