Latitude E6420 - Error Code 2000-0415
When I turn on the computer, the Dell logo appears and then it goes to a black screen with a blinking cursor in the upper left-hand corner. When I do diagnostics, I get the below. Please advise.

This error typically signifies that a specific cable is not connected or is not seated correctly, and will normally name the specific cable in question. The image you posted does not open. Also, what was the diagnostics testing when this error came up?

The error occurs during the Cables section of the diagnostics. It says "Msg: Cables - Check the following cables: LCD cable;"
I'm not sure where is it or how it became unseated. The screen seems to be working fine otherwise. The rest of the diagnostics show no errors.

Click the link below to download the online service manual. The manual will provide information for removing/replacing parts in the computer. The cable may need to be reseated.

Hi, I have the error code 2000-0415 which shows to the Password Jumper. I tried to use different jumper and still not able to resolve this issue. Please advise. Thanks.

Bonjour j'ai un problème similaire sur mon latitude 3380 code erreur 2000-0415 avec un QR code check the following cable, jumper j ai vérifier plusieurs fois si les câbles étais bien connecter et mon souci est que le pc s'éteint assez rapidement j'ai le temps de voir le bios regarder la configuration et la il s'éteint si quelqu'un aurai une solution
