Latitude E5400 CPU upgrade
I have a Dell Latitude E5400 with an Intel Core 2 Duo T7250. The motherboard is Dell 0D695C. I'm looking to upgrade the CPU to the Intel Core 2 Duo T9400. Would this work? Also,would it offer a decent performance improvement? And would a T9600 be significantly better?

It should work, but the performance boost will depend on what you're running -- bear in mind everything else stays the same, so the overall impact might be 10-15%.

You'd probably get better bang for the buck by changing to SSD from traditional hard drive.
