I was wondering if It's possible to upgrade the above processor in this laptop, maybe i7 ? or faster i5.

Intel Core i5-2520M (PGA) CPU upgrade:

I upgrade many E6420 XFR's " 2nd Gen CPU's " to Core i7-2640M:
I have also upgraded them to the Core i7-2720QM and Core i7-2760QM.
They run a little hotter but the performance can be worth it.
