fingerprint on Latitude E4310 windows 10
I got a Dell Latitude E4310 as it turns out it has a Fingerprint reader
I am running windows 10 pro 64 bit
I have tried Installing a few driver I found online but nothing seems to work and when I try to set up a fingerprint sign in it says there is no compatible fingerprint scanner found.
the only driver I found for the Latitude e4310 are for windows 7
Would love some help getting the scanner to work

After you installed Windows 10, did you let it go online and install all needed drivers?
You'll want to be sure that Windows 10 is fully up-to-date.
Often times, you can install Windows 7 drivers in Windows 10 by changing the Compatibility Mode for the driver.
Yesterday, I installed Vista video driver for Latitude XT that has Windows 10 installed.

Welcome to the Dell Community @mcazoo
Try this one it is for W7 and W8 it should work.
https://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=rdyg9&oscode=w864&productcode=latitude-e6420-xfr
After that is installed you may want to do the firmware update:
