Need help reinstalling factory-installed software
I have a Dell Studio 1537 laptop. Without going into the details of how I arrived to this point, I'll just say that in trying to get a fingerprint reader working that broke from an update, I uninstalled the fingerprint reader software. After reinstalling the driver, I want to reinstall the fingerprint reader software, but of course I don't have the original disks (if it was in fact on there and I don't know that it was). I understand that I'm supposed to be able to redownload factory installed software from My Dell Downloads:
https://smartsource.dell.com/web/main.aspx
But when I went there, it lists a very limited selection that I can download. In fact, it is only composed of these four:
Sight Speed Dell Video Chat
Roxio Creator 102 DE
Dell video Chat
Adobe Reader
(and it lists many languages for the last one)
Initially, I thought this was the first page of many, but no, that was it.
What I *want* to download is:
DigitalPersona Fingerprint Software 5.30
So, is there a way I can do this? Or did I screw myself by uninstalling it? (Not that it was working after the update anyway.)
Thanks.

SongMonk,
Using Internet Explorer, go to Drivers & Downloads enter your service tag number.
Look under input and you should see something like Authentec AES2810 (Fingerprint Reader W7 64-bit)<ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed / replaced from this post by Dell>
This is DigitaPersona Fingerprint software.
