XPS L702X Screen Blinking When On Battery Only
Last weekend I upgraded my XPS L702X from Windows 7 to Window 8 Pro. Not sure what happened but now when I run the laptop on battery only the screen blinks randomly. I have updated the NVIDIA driver and still have the same issue. When plugged into the power cord the screen does not blink at all.
Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this?

I had the same issue you can fix this by turning off energy saving technology in the intel graphics control panel

Hi John,
Please update the latest Bios from the below link and revert with the status.Ensure that the battery is fully charged and the adapter is connected while you flash the BIOS.

Already running A19 but flashed it again and no change. Screen still blinks randomly when power adaptor is not plugged in.

Hi jodoak,
Try swapping the battery with a known good one and also connect an external Monitor and check if the monitor flickers on battery mode.

As an observer with the same issue, I can verify this option was successful for me. Thank You.
