XPS 15 9550 - After waking up from sleep issues
i have the dell xps 15 9550 got it 3 days ago,
installed geekbench and cinebench and ran tests.
After turning on the PC everything ran fine, Cinebench and geekbench use 100% cpu and turbo boots the cpu to 3.1GHz.
When i close the lid and wake the pc back up and running the same tests the CPU uses only 65% max use and doesnt turbo boost and even lowers the clock speed to avrage between 1.6-1.66Ghz.
I have just talked to the support line and they told me the new xps doesnt not allow after waking up from sleep to go up to 100% cpu.
is that realy the case? whats the point of putting a laptop to sleep ...

I believe there are several inaccuracies in this. The speed cap problem happens after unplugging the XPS 15, not after going into sleep mode. In fact, going into sleep (or rebooting) mode fixes the speed problem (until the next unplugging).

After talking to dell, this is a known issue and they are saying its a windows issue but after disabling Intel's SpeedStep the computer goes up to 100% after waking up from sleep mode, and used 2.6GHz since it cand under clock and cant turbo boost.
Looking for aome info if its realy a software issue.

This is very interesting. Can I ask what cinebech score are you getting for fps in both cases, before and after sleep. I am puzzled by mine. I have ran cinenech like 20 times during the week I have had it and I think only once I got 82 fps. The others something close to 45.
