Why my laptop only works in safe mode? On normal mode appears just the cursor with black background.

So, to start at the begining: Yesterday after I got home I turned my laptop on. I went to the kitchen and after the 10-15 minutes I came back, it was still showing the Windows logo (at the begining of starting your computer before loading the "login" part). I waited 5-10 more minutes then I "forced" restarted by holding the power button for long time. After restarting everything seemed to work fine untill I logged in. After the login came the "Loading" and "Welcome" part, nothing unusual. But when the "Welcome" part ended, the desktop came in (like in every normal login), expect the cursor (which I can move) nothing else appears (icons, taskbar or anything). I can't use my buttons neither - by this I mean I've tried using Ctrl+Alt+Del and it doesn't works). I searched (and I'm still searching) for issues similar to mine, because as I saw a lot of people had this "windows works only on safe mode, otherwise it's just black screen" problem. Now the thing is that the reason for going their screen black is usually not the same as in my case. In the 95% of the topics I've read about this, they said they upgraded their windows, or their engine just shut down randomly while they was watching videos. I coundn't really find topics where they said that they have black screen with cursor (usually they had just full black screen). Every time I restart my laptop and go in to the normal mode its shows me the black screen with the cursor and I can't do anything (there are no objects where to click or buttons working). I did a reset to my BIOS yesterday but it didn't helped me.

I would really appreciate if somebody could help me. Thanks a lot. :)

Hi,

Thank you for writing to us!

Does the system boot in " safe mode with networking" ?

If it does then kindly check do a system restore to the date the system was working fine.

We would also advise you to back up the data on the system as well.

Kindly private message the service tag to system .

Thanks

Robin

Hello, thanks for relpying me. The problem is that I dont have a restore point, I've never had problems with my computers/laptops so I never thought about making one.

Hi,

Thank you for your reply.

Kindly boot the system in safe mode ,open Msconfig, and check if the boot only in safe mode option is checked  and if is kindly un-check it and restart the system.

Thanks

Robin
