Hi Ibomi,
Welcome to the Community. Connect an external monitor to the laptop to check if the display is fine on the external monitor. If it looks fine on the external monitor then the LCD needs to be replaced. If you see the same vertical lines on the external monitor as well, then a video card replacement.
