You must of installed Windows manually to get Windows 7 x64. I assume you used the Vista x64 drivers. They all work except the Bluetooth driver and since you are experiencing problems with the Dell Wireless 5530 HSPA Mini-Card don't use the Vista driver for that. For best results follow the OS reinstall using my wiki A Clean of Windows 7. Use the Vista x64 drivers except for:
1. For the Dell Bluetooth 370 use R226750<ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed / replaced from this post by Dell>
2. For the Dell Wireless 5530 HSPA Mini-Card use R251153
3. According to crucial the maximum memory is 4 GB, see here. However offtek are stating the maxium is 8 GB see here. The part from crucial may be purchased here. I have found the memory from both manufacturers to be reliable in Dell systems but have a slight preference to crucial.

phil6697,
Did you install the notebook system utility and the chipset drivers first? How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order
After you fix the drivers, try reading...
Bluetooth connection and pairing
The mismatched RAM causes graphic lines when under a heavy load, so make sure to match the RAM in equal amounts.
I used to own a Studio 1737. Came with Vista 32-bit, changed it to Vista 64-bit, then to Windows 7. When you upgrade, did the Broadcom Netlink Gigabit adapter give an error in the device manager?
Fingerprint adapter on it?

The two main programs for Blu-Rays are powerDVD and Corel WinDVD.
I initially had a preference for WinDVD however both programs have a price tag and in my opinion both are much more bloated and buggy than they should be.
Luckily there is a free trial for both so download them both and see what one you prefer.

This occurred after installing one of the drivers I recommended or was happening before?

Phil,
The Vista 64-bit drivers worked in the Vista SP2 Compatibility mode worked to install everything on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit except the Broadcom BCM5784M LAN or better known as Broadcom Netlink Gigibit Ethernet (64-bit drivers)
Remembering to install the drivers in the correct order, notebook system utility and the chipset drivers and go right down the list. How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order
Fingerprint Software is Authentec AES2810 (Fingerprint Reader W7 64-bit)
Everything should install with no problems. Remember to install Dell Webcam Central from the disks.

The driver I listed is for the 5530, it has no mention of the 5540 but interestingly if I try to install it (I have no card, I get the same error)
Anyway try R243926 instead but not it gives me the same error and may just be an earlier version.
