Trouble since updating to DigitalPersona Version 5.20.252a
I have a studio 1737 with a finger print reeader uding the Digital Persona Software I had a version 4.xxxx which offered the update to this version. The upgrade is sugccessful, required a driver update and seemed to work OK: BUT
ONLY VERY RARELY does the fingerprint swipe trigger the software, unless one clicks on the iccon and chooses the fill in the data option.
The software maker states clearly that this is now a DELL responsibility.

I am having the same problem since updating. Geez is this frustrating!!! I wish I never upgraded...
