transferring pictures to SD media card

I received a digital picture frame and need to move some pictures from my laptop to a 1GB SD media card.   Do I need some sort of device that goes from a USB port to the card or something like that?   I don't see a slot anywhere that would fit the media card.

Hello,

You will need a USB SD card reader like this.  :emotion-55:

Welcome to the forums :emotion-21:

When you're asking for help, you should mention the model of system and the OS you're using.

That said... assuming the system definitely doesn't include a built-in media card reader, an external card reader is your only option.

There are many different makes/models available, but (to my knowledge) all of them support SD cards, so you don't need to buy one of the more expensive ones, if you have a limited budget.

As long as it supports all the media cards you're ever likely to use, just get whatever you can afford :emotion-5:

Wanna save lotsa dough!!!! EBAY!!! SD Card reader. Anyone will do. Personal experience says you don't care whether the pc has a reader or not. Redundancy.
