trackpad light
Today the orange light turned on above my trackpad/touchpad. I've tried restarting my computer along with disabling and re-enabling it. Nothing seems to get it to turn off. Why wont it turn off?

Hi
It seems like it’s an issue with the touchpad function. We sure can check how to turn the orange lite off in touchpad.
Follow the mentioned below troubleshooting steps;
1: Generally, there is key next to F12 which looks like monitor with (x) symbol. You need to press that key once and the orange light should turn off and touchpad should start working smoothly.
Refer to screenshot given below
2: Open Control Panel - Mouse - Cypress Track pad - Click to Change Cypress track pad Settings - Select the option Enable/Disable - Apply - OK
3: Please check if the system has Dell Quick Set application installed. That will have an option to enable/disable touch pad. If you need to install Dell Quick Set please use this link-
www.dell.com/.../DriverFileFormats
If the issue persists please reinstall the Cypress Touch pad using this link:
www.dell.com/.../DriverFileFormats
4: If the issue persists please confirm the model number and operating system of your computer.
Thanks & Regards
