Spilled Water on keyboard-going haywire now??

Can anybody out there help me out?

A few days ago I accidently spilled some water on the lower right had corner of my keyboard of my Inspiron 5100.  Within a matter of second the keyboard didn' work anymore and the touchpad mouse was acting really strange.  It has been a few days since the incident but my computer is still acting funny (beeps everytime it starts up) and the mouse and keyboard seem to have a mind of their own.  When I try to open up an application on my desktop it will inadvertantly open up something else.  Has anyone out there had a similar problem and know what I am dealing with?  Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.  Also I cannot turn off the computer and my 1 year warranty with Dell expired a few months ago.  Thanks!!

I did the same thing! And the same thing is happening! Yesterday i tried doing a system restore to an earlier time, and that fixed it all day till i shut the thing down and got up in the morning. It is driving me nuts, cuz i can't even type in word cuz every key will cause something to pop up or close down. Please someone help us.
