Screen/Font/Appearance Size

I'm sure this is a common question, but I can't find the answer anywhere.  Well, not one that works. . .

I received my Dell Latitude in March 03, running WinXP.

Everything is soooo small for the high resolution, that I'm starting to go blind.  I don't want to change the resolution so that it is fuzzy.  If I change to large fonts, I have problems with most software not showing me their entire dialog.

Also, using software, e.g. excel, word, etc, the icons are so small I can't tell what they are.

Also, the websites are so small, I can barely read, and if I change to large fonts - they're out of proportion.  For instance, I have to scroll down on MSNBC's page just to see the headlines, because all that pops up are the side and header menu's (the pics, etc, won't fit on the same page.

I'm serious about the going blind part 0 it's done a number on my vision . . .

Thanks,

madadder

2 things you should consider doing

Under Display Properties, look in Settings, Advanced
There is a setting on the first page for Screen Font Size - set that to large

In Internet Explorer, in the View menu, you'll find Text Size - increase that

Hope this helps
