problems regarding switching on my laptop

If the battery is bad it may need to be replaced.  If the charging port is bad it will not run.

The AC adapter could also be bad.  Try removing the battery and disconnecting power and then press the on button to discharge.  Then attach only the power leaving the battery out.

Does it come on?  Then put battery back in and see if it comes on.

In addition to what SpeedStep has said, you may also try the following steps:

1. Please ensure that the battery is fully charged.
2. Remove the Battery & disconnect the AC Adapter from the system and hold the power button down for 5 seconds, to discharge “Static Flea Power”.
3. Reseat the battery on the Notebook System and try to power on the system.
4. Remove the Battery from the Notebook system and try powering on the system using only the AC Adapter.
5. Please ensure that the Power Led on the AC Adapter is lit to ensure the functionality of the AC Adapter; also please try a Know Good AC Adapter if available.
