Problem with new dell laptop and smartboard

I'm hoping someone else has seen this and can make a suggestion...

New smartboard (well, smart interactive flat panel, model 4065) and new dell latitude 5570. When I connect the usb cable, windows makes it noise and installs the device. It works as a touchscreen, but not as a smart device... meaning it doesn't show in the smart settings, it says "No smart boards are connected".

I called Smart tech support and we tried everything. This panel works on an older dell laptop no problem. I installed the newest software, updates, chipset drivers, bios updates, everything. No go. I even tried on another new 5570 laptop and it has the same problem. All 3 laptops are Windows 10, x64 (10.0.14393), same smart software version (2016). The only difference is the 2 5570's don't work and the 1 5520 did work.

I clean installed windows instead of using our image, so it was just windows 10 with nothing else but smart software and it still does the same thing, works as a touch device but will not work in the smart software.

I'm out of ideas. Suggestions?

So I called Smart support back up and reopened the ticket. We tried forcing the correct driver on it via device manager and that didn't work. He had no ideas. Level 2 support said its not their problem because it works on an older laptop. What kind of<ADMIN NOTE: Profanity removed as per TOU>is that? Seriously thinking about returning it. If its not going to work on any new computers, why did we pay 3 grand for it? Anyway, no better or worse off than before. God, I hate Smart brand<ADMIN NOTE: Profanity removed as per TOU>

Go into the bios and go to USB configuration, try toggling the options there. Turning off the USB3.0Controller worked for us.

thanks
