Overheating my Dell 5720 with Windows 10
Hi, I upgraded my windows 8.1 to windows 10 some days ago, and I noticed that my dell 5720 is overheating doing almost nothing (just browsing webpages).
The fans are now all the time working because of the increase of the temperature.
This is happening with all the browsers, chrome beeing the worst.
I updated windows, and the drivers from the dell webpage, but still like this.
never have this problem with windows 8.1 or 7.. so it isn't hardware issue, I bet maybe windows problem or drivers need to be updated to work better, and not raise high temperature just browsing webpages.
Hope someone can help me fix this
Thanks

Open Settings, Update and Security, Recovery and select Go back to windows 8.1. You have only 30 days to return to windows 8.1. You can update again later if you want. The free upgrade is good for a year. The overheating problem should be resolved after a while. That can damage your computer.

I Upgraded from Windows 7 to windows 10. I encountered the overheating problem immediately. My computer is XPS 14Z. After struggling with all kind of suggestions from the web I found the solution:
GO TO DELL support. Download the latest BIOS and update. Download all graphics cards drivers and update. RESTART. and your system should be running perfectly.

Iv noticed windows 10 does heavy background programs.
Perhaps you need to disable those programs
Perhaps you need to clean the fans and reapply thermal paste?
