Number 6 Numeric Keypad not working
Hi,
I have a Dell Inspirion 5558 touchscreen Windows 10 device.
A couple of weeks ago I noticed that the number 6 on the keypad to the right no longer works. I have attempted to remove the keyboard to see if anything was underneath and didn't see anything.
There have been times when different key strokes would be followed by the number 6. For instance, the letters 'c' and 'e' when typed in close succession in words like 'instance' or 'glance' the number 6 would appear. This does not happen regularly though.
All other keys on the keypad work fine.
Please advise.
Thanks and Merry Christmas!
Steve

I'd suggest you run keyboard troubleshooting tool on the system. Please type Troubleshooting Control Panel onto [Cortana] search box, click on 'View All' , and then keyboard. Run other tools as well, see image below:

Also,
Make sure 'Sticky keys' and 'Turn on Filter keys" are turn off. At the bottom, left of taskbar, right click windows logo, click on Control Panel, Ease of Access, and then 'Change how your keyboard works'.

You could reseat the keyboard cable and see if that makes a difference.
