My touchpad light is orange but the touchpad is not turned off?

It's glowing a pale orange and just started to do it. I turn it off and it glows a darker orange then it is now. This has never happened before...? Please help I'm worried lol. Don't know what model it's a dell inspiron intel core i5 windows 7 don't know if that helps?? HELP MEH please...

Hi Dankmaster,

Please press the key to turn on the touchpad. Turn off the system. Unplug the adapter and the battery. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds. Plugin the adapter and the battery. Turn on the system. Update the BIOS and the touchpad driver using the link mentioned below:

Select the system model and the operating system installed on the system.

NOTE: Ensure that the battery is more than 30% charged and the adapter is connected during the BIOS update process.

For system model, click start and right click on computer name. Select properties.
