Could you please let me know what might be the problem. Please let me know if it is the problem with the graphics card.If it is graphics problem, can i change the graphic card alone.

Please reply to me.Waiting  for any response

Thanks in Advance.

Screens go bad bro, I'm sorry to tell you. You might just have a connector loose, because some some displays stay lit and you can see the monitor blood on inside of the LCD. (I have foot-balled my laptop before and broke screen, but was still lit up). Use this video I give you to check connections on screen. There is one usually on back of screen and some have a CCFL inverter at bottom near hinges, check this and see if both cables are secure. If everything looks fine then while you have the screen off, replace it.

CAUTION: If you are under warranty let DELL look at it. Thank you. If you do it by yourself make sure you de-static so no static discharge will get you laptop.

Look here for your screen: www.laptopscreen.com

You can also test the laptop by connecting to a PC monitor or flatscreen TV with an RGB-PC connector. If everything comes on OK....that means the video card or circuit is working properly. That would tend to indicate a bad laptop screen.
