mouse arrow disappears middle of screen
My cursor disappears in the mid point of my screen for the entire lenth of my screen, by 1/4 inch in height. It also disappears at the upper right corner when i place it on the minimize button or exit button. Any idea what is causing it and how to repair it. Sometimes when I shut the computer down I notice a black line across the length of the screen midway up. Thanks for any assistance.

I would first try removing, and then reinstalling the video drivers, if that does not work, you should go to device manager and highlight the mouse listing, and delete it, then reboot.
