Latitude e5500 Fingerprint Sensor Drivers?
I have the optional fingerprint sensor included with my Latitude e5500 laptop. I recently downgraded to Windows XP Pro SP3, and I am looking for the driver for this fingerprint sensor. Without success, I checked the support site for drivers by providing my service tag. Is this a Broadcom device? I cannot find any device information with HWiNFO32. Can someone provide me with device information or a link to the drivers? Thanks.

I know this post is over 8 months old but I figured maybe this may help the next person looking for this driver. It is on the disc but it is called: Under Application Drivers (Be sure not to confuse this with the other two which are under the category of Applications and Application Utilities) Dell ControlPoint Security Manager. If you try to install the wrong one you will get an error that says you need to install the drivers first. Hope this helps. Good Luck!
