Latitude E4310 Express card to PCMCIA
I want to connect a DV camera with firewire connection to the above
I have a PCMCIA card that was compatible with an earlier PC. My new ubit has an express card slot
Could you recommend what is required to connect the DV camera to the laptop please

There isn't going to be a way to use a PCMCIA firewire card in this system. There are some converters, but they are not universal in nature and they won't work with a firewire card - they also cost a couple of hundred dollars.
You'll need to buy an Express Card firewire adapter.
