Laptop won't boot up, black screen with cursor
Hi all,
Apologies if this issue has been submitted already, but I've just tried to boot up my laptop and all I can see is a black/blue tinted screen and my cursor (movable).
I was using my laptop last night and it was running perfectly fine. I shut it down but closed it before it was able to do that (accidentally). I figured it just went to sleep, but when I opened it this morning, it made the usual "thinking" noises, but never progressed past a black/blue tinted screen. I can see my cursor and can move it around, but there's nothing on the screen.
I tried hard stopping it a couple of times, but the same thing is still happening.
Any suggestions?

I am also having this same issue as of today, Laptop worked fine last night, but today it wouldn't project to my external monitor. After attempting to update the video drivers it now won't boot up. Only a black screen. I tried F12 and ran diagnostics, but everything check out as "Pass". Still won't boot up. My laptop is barely a year old! Help!
