Laptop stuck at dell logo, it won't boot

hi all,

I need help with my dell inspiron 5520, windows 8.

It just suddenly won't boot up. It gets stuck at the Dell logo, and starts booting only when I push a keyboard button. Thereafter it boots up to windows logon, and the keyboard won't work anymore. Can someone please help me with this?

Thanks, but that didn't do it too. However I was able to figure out the cause of the problem. A Ctrl key got stuck underneath, thereby issuing a standing ctrl command everytime the computer was on. I had to carefully remove d ctrl button and clean around the keyboard buttons. That solved the problem for me. Thanks for all your suggestions

Thanks again. I have attempted system restore too, still did not solve the problem.

If you are familiar with Inspiron 15R (5520), does the powershare USB port work as other normal USB ports too? Just trying to find the cause of the problem.

Other suggestions are welcome too
